Finding a Place in the Galaxy (SpaceFriends Wanted)
06 Apr 2021Dark_Raven
The idea of looking for a place in this galaxy sounds quite absurd in such a way that I constantly catch myself mocking my own way of thinking for indulging it. It's ironic, that finding myself surrounded by vastly empty space (or should I say Space?), I still struggle to decide where to call home, or which path to take. There is no shortage of jobs to take, good and less good causes to support, righteous or dubious governments to endorse, or perhaps undermine. However, just like, and perhaps as result of, the way I've fared previous to obtaining my Pilot's Licence, I'm extremely reluctant to limiting my options to a single profession or restraining my area of influence to a certain spatial area.Who knows? Maybe it is the right way for lost pilots to just wander around in a search. Maybe that is why I was able to register as a "Politically flexible" "Wanderer/Freelancer" with "No designated allegiance". Maybe that is why I can always choose to change those meaningless labels. Maybe all of us have had that inner conflict at some point in our career as pilots. I've started over so many times, giving it all away but a thousand credits and rebuilt my life from a Sidewinder up with so many distinct ways that maybe that in itself was the lesson. There no path, there is simply source and destination, with no set way to go through. The rest is a web of choices and consequences over which we have more or less control.
I suppose that 6 years of piloting and a bionic eye later, I still know nothing about this ****.

Note: I'm looking for a wingbuddy/spacefriend with which to share work and wages with, feel free to get in touch, though my reply may be delayed and my availability for Space-work may be limited due to off-ship activities, so please have this in mind.
