Admiral’s Log #5
Admiral Draxus - SFS Horizon(SFS-02)
Location: Rosette Sector CQ-Y d59
Time: 19:41:29
June 27, 3304
“I just arrived at the Rosette Nebula, I’m currently docked at the asteroid station here called New Beginning, I like it, it’s somewhat fitting to my current situation, because when I first left civilized space, I was unsure how I would handle myself out there, even though loneliness is starting to set in, I now have a grasp of the concept of exploration and I’m fairly confident that one day I’ll go out into the black once again, but for longer distance, but that’s for another time, I’m going to need a break once I get back to the bubble. Still got the Jellyfish Nebula and California Nebula left before I’m home.”
“This morning I was at the Seagull Nebula, found a bunch of neat stuff there, and from one of the nearby systems I can see how the nebula earned it’s name as its shaped like the Seagulls which are native from Earth. I also visited Hell Port, and its a very fitting name since the station orbits a volcanic planet which is also very close to the star it’s orbiting, both of which giving a hellish vibe.”
“On the way the way to the Rosette Nebula I encountered a few dozen terraformable water worlds, one of which was ringed, never seen a ringed water world before, now I hope one day to see a ringed earth-like. It was 45 jumps from Seagull Nebula to the Rosette Nebula, similar to my 48 jumps from VY Canis Majoris to Seagull.”
“Also, just now I realized that I was accidentally using the wrong fuel scope the whole time, it was a 6C, but it just so happened that New Beginning has a 6A in stock ever so conveniently. Talk about luck. Oh, and my ship’s paint is all torn up from my travels now that I notice, I think I’m gonna keep it that way, I like the travel-worn look of my ship. Anyways, I think it’s about time for me to go once more into the void, I’m gonna skip Rosette Nebula, I didn’t see anything too interesting on the inside, maybe I’m just missing something, but I got a good view as I was approaching.”
