A Work In Progress - Python Building

12 Oct 2020DiehardHeart4
So after flying for a long time with a standard Python build for PvE I decided to seek the expert advice of those who dwell in The Galactic Archive who helped me design a perfect Python build that fits my style of play.

Now to get that build off the ground, outfitting the required modules, weapons etc fairly easy when you know where to go I mainly got mine from Ray Gateway.

The real struggle is engineering those modules, weapons to the max. It is at this point we start to juggle as I'm completing influence missions for my squadron in key areas, flying missions to build up my credits after depleting them buying everything for the Python build, visiting engineers, searching for traders, visiting planets to drive round for resources, hunting for USS to salvage components. So it's juggling every day at the minute as to what I need to focus on that day and how much time I can squeeze off for each activity etc.

The great news is I'm 3/4 of the way to my engineering goal with most modules/weapons at least at the 3rd tier of five. As a result I'm now seeing great results in PvE action, I was interdicted yesterday by another Python, submitted and subsequently demolished the Python before my shields failed. A massive under-taking I would never have dreamed of doing when I first outfitted my Python but now I'm getting more confident although still not willing to stop for the Anaconda's just yet, I need the auto reload effect for my multi-cannons before I go there as it's definitely a killer having to wait for the reloads.

As an awesome bonus to all of this activity I was promoted within my squadron last night from recruit to Ensign so a very proud moment for me!

That's all for me for now so keep safe Commanders and fly true.
