Alright, I will try to make this one brief (sigh)... this log is for those who I've been working with since last year or so... my partnership with the Alliance Rapid Reaction-Corps and the Alliance has ended today... the heated argument I had with leadership contributed to my decision, but honestly, I don't believe in the Marlinist cause anymore or in the Dark Wolf Marlinists... this war with the Close Encounter Corps will drag for a long time and meanwhile the xenos are right at our doorstep, Azimuth Biotech is still facing terrorist attacks on their assets, and it seems that the development of new ways to counter the xeno threat have just halted. My point is... of all the causes worth fighting out there it seems ARRC have just picked the worst one to support, I must confess though... my faith in the cause was destroyed during the last war in Hyades Sector PJ-E a13-1, I personally reported the arrival of more CEC carriers in the system, we've sent a distress signal almost BEGGING for assistance, and in the end... we were ignored... abandoned... by the last day of the war, CEC forces have overrun us, only a handful of pilots from the Sevantya that were in the frontlines managed to return and we pretty much just had to fall back and retreat... I'm not sure about the pilots from the other allied carriers, but from the reports, we all suffered heavy losses... damn... we lost many good men and women that day, would that have happened if our so called "allies" provided the support we needed? I don't think so... shit... WE WERE THERE, GIVING BLOOD, FIRE FURY AND WHERE OUR GOD DAMMNED ALLIES WHERE AT?!
(loud background voice): ATTENTION ALL PERSONNEL, HYPERJUMP WILL BEGIN IN T-2 MINUTES!
... (sigh) That was the day... the day that changed everything... now I know how Frederick must have felt when he asked for help during that ambush, but help never arrived... Well... I already discussed the matter with each of our leaders and the decision was unanimous, we all agreed on leaving ARRC and the coalition, some of our personnel were from the Alliance or were conscripts from the systems we've worked on, a few decided to leave the Sevantya, but most are still loyal to the cause... our cause... the Sevantya and it's crew. Right now we are going to lay low in HIP 4072 and support Azimuth Biotech campaign in Xi Wangda, hopefully we can get our hands in those new Pre-Engineered AX Multicannons they just announced, they would surely be useful to modernize our Anti-Xeno capabilities and bring death to the Thargoids... Captain O'Connor also mentioned having established contact with a Federal corporation not really far from Alliance space, who knows, maybe our next adventure will take us to Federal space...
(loud background voice): ATTENTION ALL PERSONNEL, HYPERJUMP WILL BEGIN IN T-1 MINUTE! ALL PERSONNEL PROCEED TO YOUR STATIONS!
I guess that is it... I had to record this, give some sort of explanation to my sudden departure... if this log somehow reaches anyone from ARRC or the AMI coalition, I sincerely hope you understand what happened and maybe help in your decision for the future aswell, know that there are other, more worthy causes out there than fighting over some god forsaken systems in this backwater corner of the bubble... and remember, ask yourself the question: "Is it worth fighting for people who wouldn't fight for you?".
...Commander Tosh Vraugen... signing out.
