"The following comms is part of a Intel Data Package that was intercepted by a Research Facility in the [REDACTED] system, this facility is tasked with monitoring Thargoid movement in and around the Indra Maelstrom but due to the peculiar frequency used to transmit this type of data, the facility arrays where able to pick it up. Despite the high level of encryption, the local researchers where able to decrypt the file and see its contents, inside the Data Package was a brief audio conversation between a female individual codenamed "Daedalus" and a CMDR named Tosh Vraugen, alongside the audio file there were also what looked like Military Intelligence Reports containing information on different factions, individuals, fleet carriers, coordinates and tactical plans, most of which seemed to belong to the Alliance and some of its minor factions and an on-going conflict involving the Marlinist colonies. The director of the facility decided to warn the Alliance and provide the contents of the intercepted Data Package, the intentions of "Daedalus" and the individual named Tosh Vraugen are still unknown."

Daedalus: We truly hope so commander... and one more thing, the matter with Doctor Amina Holland remains unresolved, your Chief-Scientist is still wanted by the Empire for developing and testing biological weapons on living human subjects, while the Federation could benefit from her "lost" research, it is... dangerous... to have such a person tied to us, I'm sure you understand...
