Erick Devaine: Welcome to our facility commander, I hope getting here wasn't too difficult.
Tosh Vraugen: The instructions delivered by your courier were not very clear, but I managed it.
Erick Devaine: You know how it is, if our courier got intercepted with unencrypted coordinates, this place would have already been destroyed by the so called "rebels".
Tosh Vraugen: Is the situation still that bad?
Erick Devaine: Our assets suffered heavy attacks in the past couple months, T Tauri still stands, same for Mbooni and a few other systems, the rebels want to push us out of those systems as well but they forget that by galactic law that is not possible, the fools...

So, 5 days ago a rebel strike team attempted an attack at one of our research facilities, this time however things didn't go so well for them, we were aware of the attack due to counter-intel data, we repelled their attack and in the rush they abandoned one of their comrades behind.

BRIEFING: Ian Vitovisky is a veteran from the Marlinist-CEC conflict, he served under the Close Encounter Corps (CEC) for 3 years before being severely injured during a battle in the Hyades Sector PJ-E a13-1 system, once he recovered, he was dispatched to support the forces of the Anti Club Accord (ACA) and has been with them for about 8 months, we believe Ian Vitovisky has participated in at least 15 assaults on our assets and is responsible for the death of multiple Azimuth Biotech personnel, including civilians and scientists. During the attack at [REDACTED] on 13/02/3310, our defenses managed to successfully repel the assault, Ian Vitovisky and other 3 unknown assailants from ACA were forced to retreat, but due to a leg injury, Ian could not make to their dropship in time and was abandoned. With him we found several military supplies, explosives, a C-44 Carbine and a Tormentor Plasma Pistol, in his possession were also a CEC dogtag and a custom-made, ACA dogtag, indicating Ian Vitovisky as "Operator Falcon". After medical assistance, we moved him to the prison at UBF-703 for questioning.

Tosh Vraugen: In the briefing it mentions he is a CEC veteran, I have fought against and even for them in the past, did Ian say if CEC has actually forces devoted to the ACA front?
Erick Devaine: Unlikely, maybe just a couple of soldiers who were dismissed from the frontlines, from the intel we gathered, CEC is crumbling, they are being attacked from all sides, even their capital fell.
Tosh Vraugen: Jesus...
Erick Devaine: By the way, take a look at this, we found some ACA recruitment propaganda on "underground" channels, do you recognize any of these individuals?
Tosh Vraugen: Hum... I know the guy on right, with the plasma shotgun... not sure about the others.
Erick Devaine: Who is he?
Tosh Vraugen: Oh yeah... John Redhand, CEC operator... and apparently he works for ACA too.
Erick Devaine: Think you can track him?
Tosh Vraugen: Redhand is a skilled soldier, definitely not your average grunt, tracking him shouldn't be hard, but catching him? Whole different story.
Erick Devaine: Interesting... so Ian wasn't lying, but he didn't know his name, just that he was a cyborg of some sorts, more machine than man... well then, I will have to take this to the higher ups, see how to proceed regarding Redhand and his associates, in the meantime I have something else for you...
Tosh Vraugen: I'm all ears...
Erick Devaine: Mr. Vitovisky managed to survive our little chat thanks to a vital piece of information that he has kindly provided, it seems Aegis is also behind this whole ACA thing, maybe not the whole corporation but a wing of it that goes by the name of Reforged Aegis.
Tosh Vraugen: Heard about them, they are very loud about their Anti-Azimuth and Anti-Salvation position.
Erick Devaine: Indeed, and to add to that, Mr. Vitovisky said he and several other terrorists from ACA have been to a briefing in one of their facilities, and that a Data Shard was shown, containing many details about this whole terrorist operation of theirs.
Tosh Vraugen: And where is this facility?
Erick Devaine: We are still investigating, but once we have solid intel on this we will call upon you, I have also requested more agents for this task, you will not be working alone.
Tosh Vraugen: You know where to find me.
Erick Devaine: Very well commander Vraugen, it was a pleasure, once we are ready we will make contact via the usual channels, as for Redhand and his ACA associates, if you find anything new, please report it to us immediately.
