You were a fine ship. Excellent little bubble bus, and (with suitable upgrades) a capable explorer and Hi-Gee landing craft.
I was on a fairly simple 'reactivate-the-settlement-and-snag-some-data' mission. It was deserted when I arrived, but 15 pirates showed up shortly after.
Most of them went to the wrong end of the settlement, so I ignored them. This was an Agri settlement where most of it is just one sprawling building.
I scan a corpse for credentials and get in, make my way to the power centre to power-up the place, but then I had to go AFK.
'No problem' I think to myself, 'They can't get in without credentials, and pirates never do that'.
They found the ship while I was AFK. I missed all the HUD warnings. Didn't notice until I left the building.
Had to call the Apex of Shame.
