Been not really in the mood to write a log in the last days, besides the point that not much happened over Xmas and new year....Happy Xmas and 3302 btw..
But now back to the topic:
I bought the second T9 a bit earlier then intended. I named it Sailfish as i intend it to utilise it as a race Type 9, so a fitting name for a ship which is supposed to be fast. Got to try it's capabilities out on the last day of the Buckyball Race: Escape Velocity. I scored better then i though, got 14th place overall and first in my ship class. Which isn't a big surprise, Who in their right mind would use a T9 to race on planets.
So now the plan is to refit the Sailfish for the upcoming Sag A run. I worked on a possible load out for a bit and came up with this, but it is still work in progress. I might switch out that ridiculous 8A fuel scoop for a 7A. Looking at my current funds and the time window to do a proper attempt for a rally to Sag A is growing short. If i can't build up enough funds in the next 3 days to do it with a 7A Fuel Scoop, i will postpone the journey to mid 3302.
I also talked about switching up trade routes in the last Logs. I did in fact look into a couple of new trade routes, but only one of them made it into my route notebook. Chona and T'u tu, which are 11.89LY away from each other and both having the stations close to the main star. So it was a jackpot, when i found it. Sadly I wasn't the only one who did. After 2 days the run was completely dry and i flew back to Gliese 868. I will probably run that old trade route for the next couple of days.
On the Matter of Fred.... status wobbly and still in my cockpit, until the Christmas time ends on 2nd of February. So i can enjoy his wobbliness for a while now.
Oh before i forget, the radiation thing turned out good. The Doctor gave me a full decon and some Prussian blue. And i have been feeling much better.
Cmdr. Admiral Spoon signing off.
