01.03.3302 - 19:05 - Round and Round

After breaking camp at the Barnacles on Merope 5C, I flew to Hip 10716. The Bulletin Board at Morgan Depot was supposed to be a good spot to do a couple of easy missions, while still making a good profit from them.
At my arrival I noticed that different factions offered quite a large amount of money for attacking a small settlement.
So i thought to myself grab the Dumbfire Missiles and cash in on that.

After a couple of hours doing Missions for the factions my standing in the Empire went through the roof and several rank progressions missions were available to me. Upon completing several of them I was promoted to "Lord". I hope that the contact was right and that there are no strings attached to that title.

But I finally had the opportunity to try out that Imperial Courier myself. Quite a nimble ship, not the kind of fighter I like and the Jumprange with a combat load out is just NO. But with a racing loadout, it handles like a dream, although it tends to drift a bit when pulling hard turns.
So got to be careful when doing canyon runs or I will smash into the wall.

The next day I started to do some old trade runs in the trusty Space Trout, which was nice, but the T'U TU to Chona route was almost dry after a couple of runs. Seems like I was not the only one doing trade runs there. Considering I would have rather keep trading, the payout got worse and worse. So I had to switch to my DB Explorer and scout out another trade route.

After visiting the usual ones, with not a single good result, it went to hunting for new trade routes.
I found a couple of promising ones, but then I hit the Jackpot, a route with a payout of 2902 profit per canister.
While that number by itself is not very much. The two systems are just 7.83 LY apart and the both Stations are not even 80LS away from the main star. Perfect to run with the Space Trout.
But lets see how long it stays that profitable.
