Well, I finally made it to the Imperial home world and it was just as glorious as I thought it would be. But its odd, I find a sense of wrongness here as though the whole empire is on the precipice of failure. Its as if Imperial pride has outweighed common sense. The divide between the wealthy and the poor is extreme here. It makes me almost miss SOL... almost, still there is money and prestige to be gained here and I fully plan on exploiting all that I can. I am also concerned with this marriage of the Princess to the diplomat there must be more behind this. It just doesn't make any sense I was sure she and Denton where a figure head and how does her marrying a federation diplomat help anyone in Imperial space.
I also got the chance today to head out and meet Farseeer. Along the way I was nearly interdicted twice, I may need to find some friends other than Orion and Alix out here. The galaxy seems to be getting rough. Also ran into several Thargoid patrols, some brave men and women were fighting and now the galaxy has more dead heroes.
I have to admit her thoughts on FSD injection are radical to say the least. But she does seem a little odd. I plan on taking the Cabot and Beansidh for Drive optimization as soon as radically possible.
