<<Commander's Log: 07/29/3304>>After an extensive recon of the area, it seems the intel from the 'mysterious stranger' was correct.
In the remote Raman system (the name alone makes me crave Cernan Dock food courts...), I stumbled across a downed Eagle crashed in a canyon. Seems the pilot survived the crash and lived off his cargo until the food supplies ran out. There was no living soul at the wreckage, nor any evidence of human remains. Perhaps his make-shift distress beacon worked and a passing trader picked him up - who knows.
I will collect what little salvage is available and make my way to the other location I was sent.
In summary, the salvage wasn't worth the effort, but the Prometheus is a good ship; so the purchase was not in vain.
