CMDR Yumasai's Captain's Log #16: Pledging myself to the Imperator

I have been away for a while, focussing myself on studying the latest cybersecurity technologies used within the galaxy. It might be the year 3306, but I am pretty sure we all understand that even in these ages, the understanding of technology should not be neglected. Small talk aside then: It was roughly one week ago when I received a message in my inbox, from my old friend, Commander Carc0sa.It stated that I was being removed from the Benelux Commanders since they no longer viewed me as fitting with their ideals, something understandable, given the fact I operated as an auxiliary for Nova Imperium. That being said, whilst I could understand the motive, I could not understand the method. Why would they remove me now, and not when I deployed to the Nova Navy in mid- and late 3305? It does not matter I suppose, for reality is that I am now no longer a Benelux Commander. However, a question on my mind was due: "What to do?"
I quickly found an answer in Hadrian Augustus Duval, also known to the galactic community as "The Imperator". He is at the head of Nova Imperium, and its respective naval arm: The Nova Navy. Knowing him from my operations back in late 3304 and in 3305, I asked him if I could return to the Nova Navy with full honors. He agreed, stating that he could use any willing Commander at this time as his enemies were quite pushing his systems. He also stated that he would happily grant me the position of Earl once more inside Nova society, with a corresponding naval rank of "Admiral".
I was standing still infront of the communicator inside my ship, pretty much shocked in awe at what I heard. "Are you serious, Hadrian?", I asked. "Yes, I am. And from now on, you will address me as Imperator. Understood?", he said. I responded saying: "Yes, Imperator". Pleased with my response, The Imperator gave me my first assignment. A pretty mundane and simple one, but one not to ignore: I was to return to the Paresa system with my ships, as to partake in the Nova Navy's struggle against it's opponents in said system.
As such, I fired up my engines, and set course to the Paresa system. A couple of jumps later, I found myself approaching Dyson City, the largest station in the system. I noticed however that the enemies of Nova Imperium had overrun it, so I decided to act casual, and hid any material inside my ship that could reveal my allegiance. I exited the vessel, and, knowing from previous encounters, used the secret passage to the underground Nova HQ. It was there that I entered The Imperator's improvised Throne room, and humbled myself before him. I looked down at the ground, awaiting his word. "Welcome home, Commander Yumasai", was all I heard.
