CMDR Yumasai's Captain's Log #29: The Federation in Paresa

This morning, I awoke in my comfy Captain's Quarters of the NNV Vastator after a long day of deployment. As I refreshed myself and donned my clothes, I stepped outside and headed to the bridge. "CAPTAIN ON DECK!" was heard as soon as I entered it. They do remain a disciplined bunch, my lovely crew.
As I took command of the ship and sat down in the Captain's Chair, I received a letter from Milana Alvarado:
Praetor Yumasai,
I need to inform you of the grave situation that has developed today in the Paresa system. A megaship known as "Harmony's Shield' has entered the system, registering as a Federal vessel under the League of Mandu. It appears as if they have arrived with the intention to launch a preliminary strike on the Imperator's headquarters, but, I am not sure.
Please take care, for the Imperator's space is growing more dangerous by the minute.
Well well, it appears the Federation has decided to move into Imperial territory huh? And the Imperator's at that, bah! Well.... should it come to blows, I guess I can exact revenge for the late Mordanticus after all: He always spoke of the Federation being evil, and that the Empire should completely cut ties with them. Perhaps this is finally the wake up call for the Imperial Senate to take action and answer to this blatant Federal incursion of Imperial space.
