CMDR Yumasai's Captain's Log #31: From Imperator Hadrian's Praetor to Guardian Research

I have always held a fascination for Guardian technology. Especially how it can be used in hybrid form with Human technology. As I made the first discovery of 3307 of a new Guardian Structure, I began spending more and more time on researching the area and items of the Guardian civilization. In the end, I had returned home to Dyson City since then, and kept thinking about my future in this universe.
I realized that I could no longer put in the effort that the position of Praetor demands. Therefore, I asked the Imperator if I could be honorably discharged from the function. This request was granted. Then I approached Praetor Harrison Wells, a leading figure within the Navy's ranks, who also happens to supervise the Nova Science Team. I asked if I could enter fulltime as a Guardian Specialist, therefore meaning I would be spending most if not all of my time out in the remote Regor region around the Gamma Velorum system.
After having chattered with the Praetor and indeed being appointed as a full time Guardian Specialist, my instructions were simple: Go out there, and find any traces of Guardian Civilization out there. If possible, return technological artefacts for the team back home to study at the labs.
Here goes nothing, I suppose, time for a new function.
