VKV Truman, Commanders Log, 25 Jul 3304It has been twelve hours since I set off on this quest of discovery. Even so I feel like I have learned a lot. I found a station a few hours back, but it has been another four hours since any other human contact, though I was scanned a two hours ago or so.
Normally this would be nothing, but know that this is just the start scares me in a way.
I had rescued five others, from a ship that was destroyed. Five escape pods, but I was careless and I flew too close to a start. They all got jettisoned when the cargo bat malfunctioned. I can't stop thinking of them.
This grand mission must go on. Discovery must continue.
The Truman must continue.
