Cmdr. BVit's logs: Attempts at trading

At the recommendation of some of my fellow commanders I decided to try my hand at trading. It's a great way for someone with more of a head for business to make their fortunes, though I've always preferred the rush of battle. I'd rather keep systems safe than line the pockets of one of the hundreds of thousands of corporations. That being said, I invested a couple million credits in a T-6 Transporter. I stuffed it full of cargo racks and a fuel scoop, and went on my way.I've been at this for a few hours now and I can't really argue with the results. It's safer than hunting and enforcing, sure. I'm good enough at evading interdiction that it's not typically a problem, and failing that I can still run away. I don't like not being able to spin my ship around and blow them into space dust, though. Regardless, I can see myself trading more often if I'm not feeling up to fighting. It pays pretty well.
It's also my first time fuel scooping. Which is pretty cool and saves me a few credits here and there. But man, does it get warm in my ship now. I'm no stranger to things getting hot, but I don't usually fly so close to stars. Sometimes I wish it wasn't possible for people to see into my cockpit, because the skin-tight flight suit doesn't help when you're sweating, as sexy as it makes you look.
