Since my skirmish with the Chieftain pirate 2 days back, my combat confidence is rather shaken!I know in my head that the situation was in the enamys favour, being I had all combat systems offline but it still shook me. I was powerless.
Since being back at the bubble I have put the business and first class passenger modules in. A few simple tourist runs and transport missions in now, I have managed to avoid all interdictions since, where before it was generally standard practise for me to submit with guns blazing.
It might be time to unload the passenger cabins and pick up some bounties. Get the combat confidence back, help get the kinks out of my skirmish game. The ARANBARAHUN PURPLE CREATIVE CAMPAIGN might be a good place to start, though I do enjoy a good trade run as well, and nothing attracts attention like a Hull full of cargo.
As much as I enjoy the tourist work I can’t avoid combat for ever, and will need to engage eventually. So I better get my game back before I end up a floating escape pod in a debris field or worse.
