Easy Come, Easy Go

Today finds me kicking back in the lounge on Jameson Memorial. Not sure what I was expecting when I'd first heard of the place. Like maybe a statue or something. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed to find out it was just a station. I mean it's cool that it was named as a memorial to the family but just isn't what I'd expected. My interest was piqued when I heard talk of a Jameson Base planet side until I found out it was basically an invite only kinda deal. Maybe some day. I did hear that there is an actual crash site though. I'll have to look into that another time though.Word has it this is a good place for a home base what with the easy availability of various ships and modules, not to mention the nice discounts. I think that would be hard on my wallet though as the temptation to buy might be too much. I'm already much more poor than I was when I first landed here as I simply could not pass on a nice deal I was offered on a decently upgraded Anaconda. Much as I like the Krait, owning an Anaconda has always been a dream of mine. One I'd always figured to be hard to achieve. I can only imagine what Old Bill would say if he saw me now, sitting in the cockpit of my own Anaconda.
I'll admit, this is a really nice station with some very good amenities and looking at the map I can see it wouldn't be hard to find a decent trade route here. Not sure it's a good fit for me though. Too much hustle and bustle and I'm still just not much of a people person. Yeah, think I'll head back to Hamilton and then get what I need before I go have a chat with this Felicity engineer person. See if I can squeeze a bit more out of my fsd. Gotta remember to have a chat with another feller about some weapon upgrades too.
Gotta chuckle and shake my head when I look at my credit balance. Never imagined having so much money, let alone spending it as freely as I just did. Well, as they say. Easy come, easy go.
