Ship's log: star date-- 8.3.3304 It has been just over a week since my return from Colonia. I really need to get better at keeping these logs up to date. Upon my return I ran into a bit of trouble with a certain...well he calls himself a pilot. I am not quite sure what I would call him... maybe a criminal"bad luck charm for hire". Someone I have met a few times. The pilot asked if I would help him learn to use a Taipan fighter and as I had just gotten my new ship outfitted with one, I agreed to his request. Amazingly he had such misfortune that quite frankly I lost track of what all went wrong but in short it resulted in the destruction of my new ship. Never again will I mentor others aboard my own ships, or at least not my nice ones. Fortunately with the help of some new friends I was able to rebuy and reoutfit the ship that I am now using as my primary vessel. The Night's Edge; a Krait Mk2.  Anyway after all that excitement I've decided to visit some specialist engineers for some new upgrades. I am still planning on making my trip to Beagle point someday, and an opportunity has presented itself in the near future. I will be joining an expeditionary fleet of many pilots that will be launching in a few months. Zed out
