Ship's log: star date-- 4.29.3306 Alright, last night my friend Jack and I went mining together this time. We spent something around 4-5 hours out there on those icy rings, but when we finally made it back to the station and sold our cargo, well, turns out 231 low temperature diamonds EACH selling at 1.5 million a pop, will make us both more money than I've ever had in my pilot's account all in one night. However, that was when I was just running in a shoddy quickly thrown together type 7. Equipped with mismatched spare modules I salvaged from my old Python. Both the Python and the T7 have been now scrapped and sold because when its time to head back out tonight, I'll be doing so in my very own Type 10 Defender! It will be fully outfitted for mining, and I'm going to spend hours again on those beloved icy rings.

And what's more, is that when this night is over, and I return from this next mining voyage... I will finally have my first ever ELITE RANK with the pilots federation... honestly I'm super surprised it is going to be in Trade, but ehh I guess you really never know what life will throw your way.

Back home on Serebrov station, my friends own a bar called the Eridanus, and well... to celebrate both the riches and the rank, I've just returned from dropping off a datachip for the bartender. Drinks there are on me for the next galactic week!

In other news my tests with the new upgrades for my ship's AI... well they wouldn't integrate very well since I was in the new type 7 rust bucket all night. I suppose it'll only work with the finely tuned code and systems that I've been refining in my flagship Krait Mk2 for months. Oh well. I suppose ill get back to those tests tonight after mining, or tomorrow night perhaps.

With all these extra credits I'm raking in, I think I might be due for another trip to my cybernetics specialist. I should see if he has the new toys I commissioned ready... besides, he always has some fun things engineered for me. Maybe this time I'll be able to afford some better recoil reducers for my in-arm mini-gauss cannon... he better have the EMP resistors working for me this time.

Anyways, I think that's all for tonight's log. I'm really trying to do better with keeping these steady...at least steadier hahaha.

For now,
-Zed out
