So, here we go again! Blasting away at Thargoid Scout vessels in the Celaeno system. Re-arming numerous times at Artemis Lodge for those sweet sweet AX Multi-Cannon bullets. I swear Docking control must be fed up of me now! But, having the rounds dipped in whatever it is that the 'Goids don't like, really makes short work of them. Good shout from the smart weapons engineer that one! If only they could just let me use five AX weapons instead of four, that would be excellent Please.

I've been tinkering with the Excalibur's systems, my work horse of a Krait II, to try and get as effective as possible at shredding the little green bugs. Including an automated docking computer, just as not to piss off the staff working on landing control, and to take a toilet break (ahem, beer break) One of my better upgrades for sure!
I noticed on my earlier trips out to the threat level 4 shooting gallery's, that the large hard points were the ones doing the most damage. I was running two large AX multi cannon turrets on top, and the two mediums down by the cockpit. But the mediums, although they look super fly, just seem to tickle the buggers.



I got one of my spare Cannons sent over from Lee Orbital in Hajangai, strapped that bad boy on, and wow. What a difference! PEW-PEW for days now! So, three large turrets on the roof, one medium, and a measly regular multi-cannon just top make up the numbers is working nicely. That set up gets through a scout's hull in about 10-12 seconds. Just over a minute to clear a zone and back out to find another. And boy, that engine boost noise never gets boring!

I have to stop leaning over to my right panel and checking my combat rank progress between fights. It must be broken i swear. I've murdered hundreds of the blasted things, and i'm only halve way to Deadly...
