Logbook entry

How did I wind up here?

Star Date Log - Who knows or cares out here in the seemingly endless void.

Why am I writing a log entry.  Out of sheer boredom.  I'm tired of listening to the inane drivel of my vapid passengers and their sycophant hangers on.  At first listening to them was sort of entertaining but that misguided sense of feeling superior to my superiors got old after about 400 jumps or so.  So I'm left alone with my own thoughts just staring out the window of GraveDigger.  I keep wandering back to thinking on how I found myself in this interminable situation and is what I'm doing even worth it.  It is all due to my love of my Grandfather on the paternal side and his love of history, archeology, along with his insane belief in conspiracy theories and nonsensical legends.  One thing he taught me was that when one was feeling down and out the best thing to do is to turn your thoughts to someone you can help.  Well stuck in a ship thousands of light years from any civilization with 3 mindless ghouls and their 10 servant zombies doesn't leave me much in the way of options of helping anyone within reach.  So I've decided to make my first log entry in hopes of entertain other commanders in a similar situation to my own or at least saving my own sanity.  So, I plan to wile away the hours with some log entries that hopefully relieve some of our shared boredom on your long journey as an overpaid taxi driver or whatever it is you do in this galaxy.

Commander Rob Graves, out.
Do you like it?
