Star Date Log - 3304-08-12 - Because I actually care about the date this time.Received the best news possible via hyperlink. My son Phil, named after Grandpa Phil of course, has become a father and now I'm a grandfather myself! Woo Hoo! Phil and his wife, Shi-thead are the proud parents of triplets. Unfortunately my son is a wussy and they are named after people on her side of the family. My new grandchildren are named Pson, Shton, and Spton. I'm sure looking forward to seeing them for the first time soon. I can hardly wait! It makes finishing up this tourist taxi run quickly more desirable then ever. At least now I have a reason other than boredom for wanting it over. I sure hope I get into some sort of adventure or at least something interesting by the time they are cognizant and can speak.
On another topic. The news about the mining robot going berserk worries me. I think it was hacked on purpose. There are plenty of reasons people can have for wanting to destroy and harm someone else's mining operation and it happens every day. What worries me is the hack. Does that mean someone has gained ability to hack my ships internals and command it to open fire on people even though I'm not doing it or to run me into a star as a simple form of assassination? Something to think about. I hope they get to the bottom of this quick but I'm not sure I'll believe anything they tell us about it.
