Pirate Hackers and Graveyards

Star Date Log - Who knows or cares out here in the seemingly endless void.

I don't believe that the mining robot on Homeland want wacko on its own due to some mistake.  We've been making semi-automated mining equipment for a thousand years.  That stuff just doesn't happen.  It was hacked by someone who wanted to cause some harm to either MacAuthor Mining or the owners of the mine on Homeland or both.  I also don't believe that billionaire Zachary Rackham just won the billion credit lottery by chance.  He hacked it somehow.  First off, don't buy lottery tickets any more if it can just be hacked by the rich and powerful.  Second is there a relation between Rackham and the robot?  What reason would Rackham want to harm MacAurthor or the investors in Homeland?  Is it some sort of hostile takeover using non-violent methods?  It will be interesting to see what "charities" Rackham spends his latest billion on?  Will he be buying votes, rewarding lackeys, or what exactly?  Is he public enemy number one?

Now back to the story about Grandpa Phil Graves seeing the SpaceCraft Graveyard with his own eyes.  He told me that he had come out of hyperspace right between two neutron stars.  He went through right where both of their emission beams crossed so that he got not just super charged fsd but super duper charged fsd.  He tried to jump away before he got cooked but went smack dab into some sort of worm hole near the two neutron stars.  At that point he blacked out and when he came too his ships systems were mostly fried and he was on life support.  Outside of his window as the super massive alien/human spaceport and as far as he could see in any direction were the apparently derelict ships of all types he had never seen before.  Some looked human but most appeared to be of alien manufacture.  His life support was running out.

Commander Rob Graves, out.
