Captian's Log Entry #1: Great Success!!Phew! What a day...what....a...day. I have been flying solo for so long I never got around to any logs because...who was going to see them?? ME? I decided that maybe it was time to settle down, find a place to mass lock to out here a little more long term and start rubbing elbows with some people for a change. Put myself out there you know? Didn't take long, maybe my Trade rank reputation proceeds me but some good people buzzed me and next thing you know...here I am a new recruit of Militia of Madmen. A small group but you know, that works for me...baby steps. I've never been a big fan of those large corporate set ups anyway. I am a person not a number yah know?
Hit the ground running though! Small team doing big things, gotta expand! I am all for it for sure. Looks like I came in just as we are vying for a new system and seem to be doing quite well throwing our weight around. Checking out the mission board, looks like the system has had it's share of pirate menaces...as a tradesman I know all about those types, and have just the counter measure in store for them when they try to give me the business. My trusty Python: Vulgar Display, for just these occasions.
Man it is stuffy in here. One sec, going to open the door for a bit. Nice, that should do. Where was I...Oh yeah!
So one of the higher ups and I head out and eventually another recruit joins us on a bit of an extermination run. Boy I can really see that I picked a good place to join. Mr. Big Wig brought his Big Gun with him...Fed. Corvette. Such a sweet ride, soo jealous...one day.... We did pretty well and I held my own, yessir. 87 total kills, yeah the place was infested alright, and the station was glad to hear of it as well. Of course I was glad to take their money, another perk, but all for the greater good of our expansion.
The view from the room ain't bad either. The planets orbit a bit closer than they did back at Sol but the feel is about the same. Looks like someone is staring in my door by this reflection...be right back. Hey K! That you?? Hey wait up!!
Wait...What the heck? *beep boop beep beep* Hey K, yeah its LBD here. Were you just at my door by chance? I saw someones reflection in my doorway while star gazing and went to greet them and there is no trace... No? Alright then... Yeah same to you.
What was that!? I swear there was someone in my doorway, a man. Just standing there staring in my direction. Didn't answer my calls and the hallway was empty... I know it has been a while since I spent any real time planet side, must be this atmosphere I'm not used to. I need some sleep, it has been a long day I think.
