The trip so far has been uneventful. I've arrived at the first waypoint with no notable experiences along the way. The ship is holding together well, and just shy of 1000 ly is a decent push for a first day. The system itself is unremarkable. Two M class stars, several landable planets, but nothing exceptional. On my way here I encountered a few earthlike and water worlds, alas all previously discovered. The contrained jump range of the ship did allow me to encounter a few systems that did not appear to have been previously explored, and in a few of these I made a point to do a detailed scan of at least the closest worlds to their suns. Assuming I get home OK at the end of this, I may get dibs on those.
