Hello again, fellow spacefarers! 07

I've decided to start writing in my logbook again because I want to share my experiences with other commanders and to document my journey as I explore the galaxy.

It's been years since my last entry, and while it might not seem that long ago, a lot could have happened in the meantime. Since then, I've dabbled in various activities, visited some remarkable places, and flown alongside friends. However, everything took a different turn last week when my son returned to space after a lengthy mission on Earth in the Sol system.

Our journey began with us reacquainting ourselves with the basics: takeoffs and landings at stations, combat training, and a dash of deep-core mining in between. All of this took place at our home base in Varati, Thompson Dock.

Before diving into our new adventures, I had to return from an exploration trip. During that trip, I encountered a rather unfriendly NPC by the name of Yhraletith in LHS 253. Unfortunately, I lost my entire cargo and had to rebuy my ship through the insurance payout. This unfortunate incident unfolded on the 24th of September 3309. That night, I hit the bunk, hoping to recover and prepare for the next attempt.

On the 25th, we set out once more, this time with Commander Nullsploit, my son, as an added security measure and to boost his financial standing. Our mission to mine and sell the goods went smoothly, with only a minor interdiction attempt on Commander Nullsploit. Fortunately, I had prepared him well for such encounters, and he skillfully avoided it, successfully selling his goods at the station.

Fast forward to the 27th of September 3309, when we headed out to the Navigation Beacon in Varati, hunting bounties. The session went exceptionally well. Although we didn't spend much time on it, about 2 hours or so, we returned with over 3 million credits in bounties. Not a bad haul, I must say. Additionally, our skills are now refreshed, and we're gearing up to engineer some weapons and ship components for our future journeys.

I was so happy to see my son again after so long. It meant the world to me to be able to fly alongside him again. During our bounty hunting session, I learned that it's important to be prepared for anything when bounty hunting. It's also important to work together with your teammates. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the galaxy with my son and to having many more adventures together.

That wraps it up for now, commanders. Happy flying and safe travels. 07
