[AOTA] 05:52 11/24/3307Could we be falling for a ruse? There's speculation that the Winking Cat could have it's eye on the Scriveners' data core. Until the discovery of the data core, what was the most important and coveted object in the galaxy? The Mars Artifact. When was the last time anyone even thought about the artifact? It's been locked away from us for so long that no one gives it a second thought these days.
Today... everyone waits with bated breath; hoping that no matter how the events play out that the data within the Scriveners' core will provide answers to the long asked questions of our galaxy. The nature and/or origins of the Thargoids. The fate of the Construct. Is there a Far God? A Thargoid Mothership? Something worse? Better? Maybe there's nothing life changing... maybe just light years upon light years of mundane cartographic data like any other ship that has traversed the galaxy.
I know where I'd strike next. If I were looking to make a statement; to really demonstrate my chops as the galaxy's most notorious and unstoppable burglar. It would be Mars.
