Loose Ends

The situation in Wirnako has created some news lately. Nothing big, thankfully, but enough of a buzz to get the attention of some important people. After hearing rumors about a couple of Angel copycats, I knew it was time to go. My work was done and the rest will work itself out through the ebb and flow of chaos that always follows a high profile destabilization op. I was also able to determine who those two nitwit spies were. Turns out they are part of Aisling's Angels, specifically a small subgroup which acts as the anti-drug unit of AA. Guess they weren't fans of my previous work to establish the Onionhead Gamma Strain market. They would have preferred I wasn't involved with the blue beauty but that decision isn't up to them. Someone high up in AA got wind of my op in Wirnako and put a cease and desist on them. Hilarious.
That then led to a couple of other agents, who I would hesitate to even call spies, following me around. But these are the Archon's boys. Leaving Wirnako in the hands of the Copycats, I led these glorified operatives on a wild goose chase across the bubble. If they're smart, they'll reach the end of the trail to find a couple of bottles of Kongga Ale waiting for them. If they're stupid, they'll make the acquaintance of a Federal Agent I know who goes by the name of Spanky. He likes finding Kumos outside their territory.
I suppose it was presumptuous of me to think the Archon himself would contact me, but I'm fairly certain he took notice. I'm keeping an eye on Wirnako, from a distance now, to see how things progress in the wake of that op. All it will take to get that situation back under control is a concerted effort by some talented individuals, but knowing the Kumo Crew, they may well not even care. If so, the right someone may find an opportunity waiting for them there.
