As I began making my way to Grebegus, I was contacted by a representative of Li Yong Rui. They offered to purchase the gutted prismatic shield generator in my hold for a paltry sum of credits and the gratitude of the enigmatic CEO of Sirius Corp. As a bonus, they offered to knock those pesky agents off my trail too. The credits wouldn't even go a tenth of the way of covering the cost of the unit but it wasn't going to do me any good sitting in my hold, and the unit was junk by this point anyway as I don't have the skills or time to put it back together. So I accepted the offer. In this line of work, it's often worthwhile to do favors for powerful people. As for the agents, they'd eventually find me and there'd be a fight. I'd likely win, but it'd slow me down and having people dogging you can create complications when you're trying to be stealthy, though sometimes that can be handy. But if I'm going to have people following me, I'm going to do it on my terms, so this was a nice bonus.Anyway, after making the exchange, I received a very unhappy message from some of Aisling's people and was informed that my recent activities were grounds for treason. Well, this ain't the first time I've been a traitor and it won't be the last. I got what I was after out of it and apparently put myself on LYR's radar. I seem to be making a lot of friends in high places lately. You'd think that'd be a good thing, but it usually just leads to more trouble.
Good thing my business is trouble.
