Back in the Black

I stayed in Grebegus for a while longer, following up on some threads and looking for anything else that might be interesting but nosy enemies and no further clues from Mr. Ghost made it clear it was time to move on. The system is still a powder keg but I've got better things to do than wait for the fireworks. I wasn't completely out of luck though. Some of the data from Tamura Chemical was pretty interesting, and contained mentions of other systems. I'll dump some of it here for reference:"It's all part of Project Prism. Frameshift makes black holes harmless thanks to this, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. We got the real good stuff, all for ourselves." - this was from some internal correspondence, unfortunately damaged so I couldn't get much context.
"It only works once it's been through the Krauze limit. After that, it's possible to overcharge the material. That's the only way we've found so far to make the hybrid work - well, without tearing itself apart anyway." - a snippet of data from a technical document stored in the facility's operations building. The rest of the file was damaged, though I have suspicions that this damage was not caused by the attack, but rather before, as if someone had tried to delete the file.
On that note, a little known fact about data storage:. Just because you delete a file doesn't mean it's gone. It just flags the part of the drive it's on for overwrite. If no new data gets written onto that part of the drive, the file can be recovered. However, if data does get written, it might not overwrite the whole file, and you'd only be able to get part of it. If the file is completely overwritten, then it's gone for good, unless you have a backup.
Some of these files definitely had to be recovered from a deleted state. Fortunately, I know how to do that, so I'm betting whoever deleted them thought they were gone for good. That means whoever it was won't be expecting to be followed. Here's another one:
"I've included the list of targets and nearby safehouses. Yes, these are people who aren't exactly nice. But the good thing about anarchy is that you can do whatever you want - unless someone else wants to do something that interferes with it. But that's what guns are for. Good luck.". - interestingly this little bit came from an operations manual. I think the manual had been deleted, and this message had overwritten part of it. It might have been left for someone to find. Probably not me, since I don't really know what they're talking about, but maybe I can meet the person it was intended for. I've not included the list of systems since I don't really see the point. But anyway, I'll be visiting those systems next. We'll see what I find.
