So, it appears that at the very same time I was writing my last logbook entry, the Emperor was in the process of being rescued. Maybe I am clairvoyant after all... Of course, this news doesn't really change anything. My original point remains valid, in my opinion. For all we know, this latest event is just another part of a masterful ruse the end of which we have yet to see. For all we know, they rescued a clone, or one of Arissa's many doubles. Wouldn't be the first time in history a ruler's double has taken advantage of an opportunity to step into the shoes of royalty. Or, knowing the Empire, it's just another strand of a web of deception going back to the First Betrayal. I guess we'll see.In other news, the Haiden Canonn Campus is now under construction. We've got a nice office complex in the capital city and administrative space on Searfoss Enterprise. We've already got a few detachments working on future project planning for the system and our infrastructure is under construction. There'll be more work to do in the coming days but the waiting is over and my unit has been discharged. Further work in Haiden is in open contract status. If you want to help out, check our mission postings in the system and vicinity. If so, I'd recommend avoiding missions targeting locations at the B star. That's currently 500+kls from the main star. Fortunately the A star has plenty of settlements and locations where we need work done, so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding nearby jobs.
