Made the trip to the Klamath system and ran some courier missions to help the wing gain influence. Picked up some data delivery missions along the way there from Aphra so a few credits were added to the bank account. I hear a lot of talk about making tons of money doing this and doing that but I'm just here to have a relatively nice place to live. Having lived in cheap hotel rooms and out of the back of my old utility vehicle, living in my ship is like a dream come true. Yeah, the money is nice and it affords me the various upgrades I need on my two little ships to keep moving but honestly, as long as I can "keep the rain" off my head when I sleep and have a full belly of reasonably decent food I'm a happy man. The Colonial Fleet has offered to teach me the skills I need to survive out here in exchange for alliance with them so I believe that is a fair trade off. They seem like a good bunch of folks with honest intentions so I'll add my hat to their goals. With the elections looming and more hard work in the future I probably won't have time to think about life much other than avoiding the bad guys and running as many influential missions as I possibly can. So for now, life is good....
