Cyberian Exploration - Back In The Saddle

After taking the time to get my ships in order and waiting out the station repairs it was time to get back out in the black. Some of the protocols in communicating with other stations besides my home port has changed as well so I'm guessing it is possibly a Federation wide system change. Not sure yet but after a few landings here and there it is all good. I had to make a few changes in the ship controls but that's to be expected. I took MSS Sunrise out for the day just doing data and courier missions and promptly found a decent paying mission way out to that distant outpost that takes some serious time to arrive at. On a positive note there is usually a good paying mission to leave with and it did not disappoint. Jumped a rank in the Federal Navy. Now I'm a Cadet. I found a good paying naval mission I couldn't resist. I'm not out here to make rank in any military organization but if they want to hang insignia on my collar then so be it. I don't normally haul cargo in MSS Sunrise but I did recently install two small cargo racks for what ever reason. I found a cargo hauling mission to move just enough Cobalt to fill my racks and it was going back to my home port. Nice pay, easy delivery and all that. I was going to call it a night but I did check the mission boards one more time and found I could stack 5 deliveries to one system, all at different stations but the total rewards were more than I could ignore so off I went. One of the places I had to deliver at was a planetary base and it was pitch dark. Quite a challenge but I managed fine. I did see another ship in my location and I thought there might be trouble but I guess they were having the same pitch dark challenges as me. I left a comm line open although I didn't attempt any communication. I figured if they might run into some navigation trouble I'd give them a hand. It went well. So I ended my work day/night here in the Cupis system on the farthest outpost from the star. About average as far as things to do so I just made up a pot of coffee and a quick peanut butter and jelly sandwich to settle in with. I have some old television programs recorded from times gone by I'll watch and then get a good night's sleep for tomorrow's activities.
