I was finally able to purchase what might be the final ship in the fleet. Well the original idea of my fleet. I bought a new Diamondback Explorer today and flew her home. Had to get her from another system and find someone to fly MSS Sunrise home for me. All good now and all the ships are safely tucked in for the night. MSS Rattler is the newest addition and is currently in module fit. I have a long ways to go to get her fully upgraded for deep exploration but she'll get there. We're in no hurry.I ran a bunch of missions today just to add that little extra do the bank account knowing I was going to be spending a big chunk of it. Did another pitch dark planet base landing and those are so cool to do. Yes I can turn on the night vision and yes I can turn on the ship lights but it's great fun gliding in just on instruments. Between not being able to see the base until you are right up on it and the wobbly motion of the ship from the gravity it can be a handful. Next time I'll just go ahead and use the night vision but now I know I can do it with no problems. Done working for the day so I'm going to make up some collards and bacon. Amazing the things you can find at these outpost stores. I'm always checking what they have in stock trying to keep my food storage cabinets full.
