I don't give jobs....

Biruni Port - NiflhelAfter I went to the pilot's lounge at the port , a young man approached me, asking if I was looking for a cargo specialist. He said he had worked for the Niflhel Corp., working the docks at Biruni for the last 4 years. Niflhel Corp. was doing some downsizing recently, and he was caught in the middle of it. This kid couldn't be much older than 19, so that means he had been working the docks at Biruni since he was at the least 15. I hired him, of course, offering a weekly salary of 20 thousand credits, and he gratefully accepted, saying that he was just happy that I gave him the job.
That's where I kinda got a bit ticked. "Son," I said, "I don't give jobs, I hire men. I fully plan on paying you an honest wage, for honest work. You worked the docks at Biruni, and have experience. Plus, you only lost THAT job because of the Niflhel corp. cutting jobs, which is why a lot of cargo pilots are hiring people to work their ships. You do a good job, and I will pay you a good wage. Now, sit down, and I'll buy you a drink."
