In the Errant Marches

The crossing of the Formidine Rift took what seemed to be forever.I was taking my time, but still. It's a vast area, with plenty to see, and it took longer than I thought.
For this reason I was happy to cross into the Errant Marches, as that gave me the feeling of making progress.
As usual, my route was designed around the positions of DSSA carriers along the spiral.
The first one I stopped by was the DSSA Andromeda Calling, owned by the well known Commander Cometborne. Literally all systems in a radius of 2000 light years from the carrier bore his tag, which was amusing.
The DSSA Andromeda calling is parked in the barren border of the Arm, so far out that, in fact, I believe the system is technically in Aquila's Halo. That was also amusing, as Aquila's Halo is one of the very few regions of the Galaxy I had never been in yet.
The second carrier I visited was - and here I might be wrong - the DSSA Blackwater.
I will make it short, but I had a bit of an issue with EDDiscovery and at the same time my screenshots folder, so for several light years I'm not entirely sure of which carrier is which.
Anyway, in this case I'm fairly positive this is the DSSA Blackwater.
Right after I left, a great tragedy befell me. Which is another way to say I'm a moron.
I got distracted and ran out of fuel. I called the Wandering Star at my position but unfortunately I was so dry that my engines shut down before I could reach her. I still can't believe I blew up like that.
Luckily I lost only a handful of light years' worth of data, so the most hurt by the misadventure was my ego.
Between the DSSA Blackwater and the far border of the Errant Marches I managed to make a few nice discoveries.
This was on an Oxygen rich planet, the only one I came across in more than 40k light years.
These Fungoida are fairly common, but I love them as you find them in vast fields and they're quite striking from the air.
These Osseus Discus were my first encounter, so they're getting a spot.
Close to the border between the Errant Marches and the Outer Arm sits the DSSA Maerzenbecher.
I'm closer to the point where I'll cross to the outer arm, and finally fly in the starless, empty Aquila's Halo.
