I managed to get a hold of Trevor, turns out he and a few others got pulled into the bureaucratic bullshit that went down with the 10th. Turns out that some folks within the Empire high court felt threatened by the 10ths continued success and influence within the Patreus factions and decided to start a senate vote to have the unit disbanded.
I can't help but feel that this had something to do with the jaggoffs over in Lavigny's Legion...
Whatever.
All I have to my name now are my ships, and what little money I have after refitting the Kite. No point in flying all the way back to Elysia...I'm going to miss her though. I guess I'll head inward, I still have my loyalty to the Empire, but...all my friends have flown out into the black and I have no way of contacting them.
Freelancing it is, for now. Might as well, until I can find a new home and a new purpose at least.
