This is CMDR Baroness Galaxy for any one of you space rats out there to hear..

Now that the Distant Worlds expedition is over people are heading home. I thought of just taking the Eastern route back like most of my friends and scan my way through interesting materials. But hey. I'm a Rock Rat dammit. And I'm feeling becoming an Explorer now as well. I feel it in my bloody veins. So I figured.. why not combine the 2 in a usefull way ?

Sleeps off to think about it..

[woke up after bad coffee]

I'm gonna take the long different route back to home. And anything interesting I find I'm gonna log. Right now my plan is to head to the famous Route 33. Pretty much the only sensible to do right ? Hmm.. not to sure I can crack open the Western passage myself taking a different route.. but might take a peep more westwards still.

Some days pass..

First encounter was a massive landable ice planet of 20km tidally locked to a Brown Dwarf. You don't often see such biggies..

Prospection results:
  • Ceeckaea FF-M b41-0, spectral class T, planet C 1, planet type Icy, gravity 2.37G and 11780,61ls away from main star. Materials found: Cadmium & Germanium for jump. Zirconium, Selenium, Tungesten and Ruthenium for the rest.
And then something wonderfull happened..

Damn !! Next encounter I had was a B star on the galaxy map, pretty rare, but hard to reach for the route plotter doesn't allow it. Upon reaching what seems to be the closest system next to it, it turns out to be 33.45ly only ! Manual selection and now look at this beauty..

A trinary B star ! And 2 of them unscanned by Allitnil ?? O_o.. a bit sloppy or a big thank you

Some weeks pass..

My journey onward I have been contacted by CMDR Greytest asking me to explore the Western passage together.
But that is a story for the next log.

CMDR out.
