Distant Worlds Day 23 -Journey to waypoint 7

07 Feb 2016Silverorrange
.....Where to start ........ the last 3 days have been eventful to day the least.

on day 21 I decided to follow Astromiko's lead and continue further down below the galactic plane to explore more neutron stars whilst still slowly heading forward to waypoint 7, luckily this is exactly what I found, I also noticed there were a few S class stars around me which I had never seen before, visually nothing too special but nice thing to detour to and have my name against, even better I didn't crash in to any of them so a good day all round

On day 22 Astromiko sent me a long range message saying there was a lot of black holes in my local area and provided me with some systems to check out, unsurprising to say the first one she sent me to, I crash into, think she may be trying to take out the competition, then again I'm more likely doing that to myself.
Unfortunately the one i had crashed into had already been discovered, just to add insult to injury so were the next 3/4 so I decided to go a bit further along and see if I could spot any more further away which I did all 3 unclaimed and with neutron stars in the same systems after I had scanned the black holes and the neutron stars I started heading back up towards waypoint 7 and the normal class of stars till I was flying with one eye open due to being so sleepy, Jimmy had to keep nudging me awake till the point where he got fed up and demanded we land so I could sleep which I begrudgingly accepted.

day 23 has been mostly spent travelling the rest of the way to waypoint 7 for the meet up later tonight, I discovered another 2 water worlds and 2 ammonia worlds but other than that was nothing interesting, I have now landed at the base camp of waypoint 7 ready for the meet up later.

On another note the ships hull is now down to 97% I'm guessing the ship diagnostics didn't pick up the 1% drop after the crash into the black hole last night, it also seems that a good portion of the flight logs from around the black hole regions have been corrupted or are missing, i will have to see if Jimmy knows anything about it......
