Distant Worlds Day 35 - The Core, so much beauty, so much destruction

It seems the longer I go on this journey the longer the time in between these logs....Ok to pick up where we last left off, On my travels to the planetary nebula I mentioned in my last CMDR's log I happened to come across a 2nd planetery nebula slightly below the one I had first discovered, unfortunately both of the systems had already been fully scanned but it didn't distract from the beautiful purple/blue nebulas that surrounded them.
From here I decided instead of meeting the fleet at waypoint 9/10 which were 2000 LY below me i would continue upwards and across to The Great Annihilator, a name that is well deserved as it was the biggest black hole I had seen up to that point.
Unfortunately the journey to this sight was not without its costs as during the first leg of the journey , lets just say that I was quite merry whilst flying and decided to leave my ship fuel scooping whilst getting some more drinks, by the time i came back the alarms were blearing and significant heat damage was being taken, this caused a cargo hatch malfunction when trying to escape my own idiotic catastrophe and thus meant that all the cargo ( including the occupied escape pods) was lost into space, Jimmy was obviously very upset with me as he could well have been one of them had he not broken out a few weeks previously, he was in the kitchen at the time so once I had got the ship to a safe distance I went to give him the bad news, he decided that we should land so that we can grieve the losses, this turned out to be an even bigger mistake as in the process of landing and still in my inebriated state I managed to reverse the ship into a mountain that I was trying to land on and drop the hull down to 88%. Safe to say this did not help the matter.
Jimmy banned me from flying for the next few days.
After Jimmy had finally cooled down and allowed me access to the cockpit again we travelled from The Great Annihilator to the core Sagittarius A*, this journey went without a hitch and I even discovered an undiscovered earth like along the route, upon reaching Sagittarius A* I was absolutely awe struck, I had seen pictures of it many times but NOTHING compares to actually being there, to fly around it and watch the HUGE gravity lensing effect warp everything around you.
I spent a significant amount of time just flying around it even if Jimmy was watching me like a hawk making sure i stay at a safe distance, I cant say I blame him.
I then flew from Sagittarius A* to waypoint 11 that was in one of the nearby systems, here is where trouble stuck again, landing was great and I found the base camp fairly easily and decided to go out in my SRV to celebrate and admire the view of the 2 very close planets hanging in orbit above me, this is where the SRV bug struck where the damage is multiplied by the number of people around and what would possibly have been a normal nasty bump ended up with the destruction of my SRV, luckily I have one more remaining but it shall stay safely in my hold until I am on my own and have to look for materials.
Jimmy is saying that we should go back to the bubble before I do any more damage to the ship but I really want to see this journey through even if it kills me which it just well might.
what do you think I should do...........?
