Today I have made a progress upwards from 2,000 lightyears in travel from the last stop, which brings my progress to 4,000 lightyears from Cubeo.
I was the first discover to a system designated DROJAEA SG-J D10-12, just under 4,000 ly from Cubeo. The system had a water-world which is candidate for terraforming, as well as a couple nitrogen based atmosphere high metal content worlds; also candidates for terraforming.
It is of my opinion that although far from the civilization bubble, this system would be a very good candidate for a long range colony. The planets would be able to be used for both extraction and agriculture. The system contains a gas giant with rings as well, acting as an asteroid and comet absorber. The worlds are bathed in the light of a Class F star less than 105 ls away.
The Aisling Imperial Exploration Corps. suggests the system be named Duval in the memory of the Princess' father, the former Emperor.
