Minor Exploration of the Outer Orion Spur: Day 1

Today I have taken upon myself to do a bit of exploring in the Outer Orion Spur region. I had been out in this region once before, but this was before the major exploration update and I had only discovered a handful of systems before I was called back to the bubble by my squadron. This time I intend to stay longer, though if more squad members finally decide to show up and help out with the elections in our home system I will make an immediate return home. Anyway I began my journey at Wrangler Terminal in LP 804-27. Naturally I'm undertaking this journey in Voyager, my exploration Anaconda. The focus for today was to just get out to the Outer Orion Spur and land at one of the planets I had already found. I departed around 20:15 and headed directly there, pausing only to scan systems and map terraformable planets I hadn't already discovered. I made it all the way there without any incidents. I trust my luck will hold up. I am currently landed on the first moon of the first gas giant in Flyeia Dryoae AE-E d13-34. Tomorrow I will begin exploring the nearby systems in earnest. Hopefully I will get to discover either some new codex entries or even an ELW or two.
On a final note, I noticed that the EDSM console updater thinks I am the first to have discovered several systems whereas the actual game knows otherwise. I know I didn't start discovering previously uncharted systems until I was about five jumps away from my target region. This means I will have to keep records of my journey to provide an accurate count of systems and/or celestial bodies I discover.
