Expedition to the Galactic Core: Day 7

I have made some decent progress since my last log entry four days ago. After I had made my ELW discovery that day I made an additional four more the very next day. Sadly I have not had the same amount of luck in the Norma Expanse. I currently figure I am halfway through this region toward my destination of Stuemeae FG-Y d7561. I had plotted it out and surprisingly the route planner actually completed the route. At the time of my plotting I had only 260 more jumps ahead of me. I made roughly a dozen or so since then, and I decided to change my route so I'm only planning a couple dozen jumps at most. I wanted to break that 260 down into smaller amounts to avoid burnout, due to the fact that I'm nowheres near any habitable system.

I did make one slight detour away from my waypoint earlier today as I had spotted something interesting near me in the galaxy map. It was a blue star that appeared to have an aura surrounding it. It was only five jumps out of my way so I went to check it out. I expected that someone else had already been there and was thoroughly disappointed to find out I was right. It was a type O star, accompanied by two more blue (?) stars, a yellow star, and a gas giant (PS4 is shut down so I can't pull up the system right now).

Anyway I calculated that if I continue to breakup my total jumps into no more that two dozen per day I'll need almost 11 more days before I reach my destination, which isn't my final destination. That would be Sagittarius A* of course. Once I have finished visiting the supermassive black hole there I plan to finally head to Colonia and check out that area of space. I am hearing reports via subspace of both areas having trouble with freebooters. Hopefully I will avoid such problems. The only hard choice I currently have is if I should save my data for when I get back home to Wrangell Terminal of if I should play it safe and sell it once I'm out there. I'll likely do the later, just to get on someone's good side while I'm there.
