Expedition to the Galactic Core: Day 8

My journey to Sag A is going quite well. I bid farewell to the Norma Expanse earlier this afternoon. I was worried that I'd leave that region without finding a single ELW when it decided to give me a going away present as I was two jumps away from leaving. Not only that, but the Norma Arm region seems to have welcomed me with open arms. Not only did I find an ELW early on as I crossed this region, but I managed to find an uncharted neutron star as well. I ended up finding a second neutron star just a short while ago, but it had been discovered by another commander before I arrived. That commander must have been in a rush to get somewhere though, for they had passed up two terraformable planets in that system. Needless to say I mapped them before jumping on to the next system. I am now 130 jumps away from Explorer's Anchorage. It seems my trick of breaking down the amount of jumps into smaller groups has helped a bit. Today didn't seem as monotonous as jumping seems when I have a higher number of jumps to complete. I think I'll continue to do this for the time being. For now though I have stopped for the night to conduct a minor repair on my FSD after running through the two jet cones. With luck tomorrow will be just as rewarding as today was.
