Now before you ask, no, I didn't do anything bad. In fact, I'm surprised by this NMLA business. Reminds me of the terrorist organizations of the early 21st Century like al-Qaeda, Hamas, and ISIL. I'm even more surprised that the Federation and Empire are on the brink of war.Anyway, this entry relates to the recent colonization efforts by the Alliance in the Coalsack Nebula. As in, the place me and Tsukasa explored back in July.
Could it be that our expedition emboldened Mahon to begin colonizing that sector? I'm not sure, but I do know that, while Suki and I were riding the Ffestiniog Railway in Wales, we got a peculiar email from someone in Alliance space sending some vague thank-you message.
In other news, I'm currently in Parutis to participate in my first community goal: blasting pirates so they don't gank the shipments. My Fer-De-Lance arrived at Schweickart City as I was writing this (for those who don't know, the station is named for Russell M. "Rusty" Schweickart, who flew as Lunar Module Pilot (LMP) on Apollo 9, the first manned test of the Lunar Module).
All I know at this point is that I have pirates to kill, implications to mull over, and a war to prepare for.
After all, it's a big galaxy out there, and who knows how big the Bubble will expand in the coming months, especially once the Pilots' Federation rolls out the Odyssey Initiative sometime next year...
