Day 4 - "Go West"
31 Jan 2017Juuba
Started the final journey home. I decided to go south, to "radial 90", or "East side" on the galaxy. Then head towards the bubble on a "westerly heading".
Found something that looks like a HUGE earth like world, 11000 Ls out from the M-class sun. Can it be?
It looks huge compared to the other, small rocks in the system. Maybe it's a Gas planet? Nope, scanner sees it as a metal high planet, but it looks like it has clouds. Lets see.. Discovered by someone named: Palkkipantteri, in old Finnish it meants "Bar Panther" or something.
"Bar" as in the blocky things, girders or beams.
High metal content planet it is. Surface temp: 20 degrees Kelvin - yeah, too far.
I've now arrived at my first leg waypoint: BLEIA EORK YE-A G1. Yea!
6847 LY to SOL.
Next leg: SWOIDAI ZP-E D12-5
I found a big water world - radius, over 14000 km.
Scanned many blueish planets next to last jump to that leg waypoint. All were plain "high metal content" planets.
A/B class stars cast blue color that makes them look promising.
Arrived at the waypoint. 6400 LY to SOL.
One blue pearl here, scanning...
Water world it is, nice.
Gotta stop here for the moment.
