01-05-3307Kate and her new recruit, (Capt) James Hawdon, have successfully completed a shakedown of the Rocinante or Thunderbird 4 as Kate has affectionately renamed her and our new fighter jock seems competent enough, although Kate and I have agreed to keep a close eye on him, both whilst onboard and off.
Jim has a history and I don’t want his apparent personal weaknesses for booze and gambling, to endanger the ship. However, we are both willing to give him a shot, but let’s stay away from hot spots until he’s proven himself reliable.
