Engineers are so demanding

So today I went out and did a bit more exploring. Ran up to V405 Hydrae, scanning systems as I went along before I needed to head to Decait and meet up with an engineer named Felicity Farseer at Farseer INC. She's been helping me work on extending my FSD range. Found out she needed these Chemical Processor things and it took forever to find them. No merchants seemed to sell them. I ran into a traveler at Tennyson d'Eyncourt Gateway who told me that sometimes pirates have them on their ships when they go through mining belts, supposedly as booty from the miner's they've picked off. On my way to a known resource extraction site some random pirate tried to Interdict me saying "I've found my next target and it's you, Commander." It didn't take much to escape his attempt and my onboard computer later identified the piolit as someone named "Bob Ross". Need to keep a look out for that one. Sounds like a shady character!Next I came across a wrecked Anaconda that looked to be some sort of Combat Aftermath. Some unknown person jumped on my coms and said they were from the Windri & Co Corp. They were looking for data on a ship that was last spotted in that area, but no amount of scanning the wreckage produced said data. In the end I gave the data up for lost and continued on my way.
My first stop at the rings of Deciat 7 was a bust. There were a lot of feds and Shields of Justice hanging around so no pirate activity. I tried another site and it was quiet for some time. CMDR Erroch buzzed me saying he was in the area and he soon jumped in next to me. I guess his big ass ship was enough to lure out all the pirates because right after he came out of warp the pirates started coming in droves. Thankfully I managed to get a ton of materials he says are good for engineering, as well as those darn Chemical Processors. So now after talking to Farseer my FSD can go a bit longer. Now she's demanding Phosphorus and Strange Wake Solutions to go with these Chemical Processors. Only the thought of improving the range of my FSD is allowing me to tolerate her demands.
So next time it's mining and wake scanning on my todo list.
