Around the Bubble in 30 Days

It was about a month ago that I received the surprise message in my morning comms, far away in sleepy comfortable Yemai. "CMDR - I'm confident I speak for everyone on the little bar last night in gratitude of your generous distribution of several bottles of fine rum to all present. Being the curious type who hardly takes such an event for granted in this little border system, I've investigated the source of your oddly conspicuous display of revelry and new-found wealth, and I discovered that Stardreamer Systems has been most impressed in your contributions to their local economy. Our collegues from LOSP at Jitabos also remembered your name and speak well of your integrity . After some quick inquiries I'm authorized to extend an invitation that I hope may interest you, to take your talents to the far side of the Bubble and join our Merry Band of Gentlemen in more serious endeavours in a fully independent though somewhat less freelance capacity. I assure you we all have a taste for fine rum..." And so began my little unexpected journey. After a brief meeting with this agent from far-off Phiagre, who pitched the backing and hospitality of his organization "Ghost Squadron" if I would simply continue my spontaneous profitable adventures from their far-off ports-of-call, I made a hasty decision to give it a try. I tidied up my affairs in Yemai and Jitabos, loaded up as many tons of Multi-Stoves as Rajukru had to offer, and set off on a trip around half the circumference of the Bubble, re-entering the Bubble on the far side where I had never been before. It has been a month, and I've continued exploring both across and beyond the Bubble, discovered new opportunities in moving rare commodities, and even been sucked into doing some token fighting in Phiagre's civil war in my newly minted little Imperial Eagle. My old Cobra is now part of a growing fleet of ships outfitted for various tasks. There is certainly more opportunity on this side of the Bubble, but at the same time there's more unrest. (and more brown dwarfs than I'd like) I still drop in at Yemai, Jitabos and Rajukru regularly, but after this highly profitable whirlwind month the Bubble doesn't seem a tenth as large as it once did.
